Fawad Khan had to leave India due to the ban imposed on Pakistani artists in the wake of the terror attack in Uri, J&K, in which 18 Indian troops were killed. The actor was last seen in 2016s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, directed by Karan Johar, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
